Born in Tokyo in 1960, Naoki FUKUDA studied at Toho School of Music, the Stuttgart National Institute of Arts and the conservatory of Vienna. He has won prizes at many international competitions such as Viotti International Competition, "O Port" International Piano Competition and "Citta di Enna" International Competition.He won scholarship from the City of Vienna for two consecutive years. He has performed throughout in Europe, including Italy, England, Portugal and Austria, as well as in USA. He has also broadcast on TV and radio many times over there. In addition to performing, he has been playing an active role as a music critics and producer of musical events. He has played with many distinguished orchestras including the Vienna Conser Orchestra, New Japan Philharmonic Orchestra, Kanagawa Philharmonic Orchestra, Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra. He gives about 100 recitals in a year.
